Nine heads snapped up to see their caretaker come sloshing into the den, his hair slick and heavy with rainwater. Rapunzel immediately bolted off the couch and grabbed a towel from the kitchen.
"God, man," Flynn quipped as Rapunzel draped the towel over Noah's soaked head. "Did you dunk your head in a gutter or something?" Noah scowled in Flynn's direction as Rapunzel picked a leaf out of his hair.
"My bus was canceled, and I left my car here," Noah clarified as the teenagers around him winced in sympathy. "The roads are flooded; nothing's running until this storm stops."
"They made yeh walk home?" Merida gasped incredulously. "In this weather?" Noah wrapped the remainder of his wet hair in the towel until he could balance it on his head.
"Well, you can't expect them to blatantly endanger-"
"Honestly! You Americans go on an' on about your 'strength' and 'determination' and yeh can't even handle a wee bit o' rain!" Merida's face curled into a cocky grin as

Hiccup groaned, pressing his face further into his pillows. The whining noise near his left ear sent a habitual reminder through his mind: It’s six ‘o clock. Rolling onto one side, he groped blindly at the air outside his bed as the alarm screeched on.
A moment later, a pillow went sailing at his head. “Shut it off!”
Hiccup growled into his pillow, letting his tired eyes open slowly. He sat up and felt goosebumps peak along his forearms as the cold air of the shared room hit his skin. As his eyes adjusted to the light, the room around him came to focus with sharp clarity, especially the pair of cerulean eyes glaring at him from under a mop of blindingly bright hair in the bed across the room.
Hiccup set his gaze on Jack’s and narrowed his eyes at the older boy, slowly reaching over to his desk and gently tapping his buzzing phone, silencing the alarm without breaking his gaze. Jack propped himself up on his elbow an
Corona Academy: As Good As It Gets (2/10)So far, Hiccup's first day at boarding school wasn't as much of a breeze as he'd hoped it would be. After the whole fountain fiasco with that senior, his Mythological Studies professor hadn't been thrilled to have him show up twenty-five minutes late dripping with fountain water. By fourth period, he'd finally seemed to dry off completely, just in time to go trekking around the campus to find his dorm house. Lovely.Corona Academy: As Good As It Gets (2/10) by bewilderwest
"Are we there yet?" Fishlegs whined pitifully, Hiccup panting along beside him. Astrid turned to face the two boys, hardly breaking her stride as she began to walk backwards.
"How long are you going to keep asking that?" she asked, shifting her duffle bag to rest on her shoulder.
"Until I'm in my room," he answered, pulling his suitcase behind him. Hiccup sighed.
"We've been to literally every dorm house on this campus already. Are you sure we didn't pass ours?"
"Are we sure it's even on campus?" Fishlegs added. Astrid rolled her eyes.
"Honestly, you two give up so easily!

My fresh uniform's crisp corners dug into my skin, and I tugged at the sleeves. Sighing heavily for what seemed like the hundredth time, I slowly set my backpack down onto the manicured lawn. Lowering myself to sit beside it, I figured that I might as well make myself comfortable.Corona Academy: As Good As It Gets (1/???) by hijack-au-central
30. That's how many times I must've checked my phone in the past hour. I checked it again, surprised to see an actual notification blinking on the screen this time. A text from my Dad lit up across the glassy surface.
are you settling in okay?
I let out another sigh and tapped out a reply.
Yeah, Dad, I'm fine. My tour guide's a little late though.
I looked around again, drinking in the impressive campus surrounding me. Refreshing California sunlight covered every inch of brick and fake grass, as if someone had spilled a jar of the stuff over

A Fire Girl and her Raging Powers
"Merida!" The Queen's voice echoed through the empty halls of the castle as she chased her daughter, her green dress lifted as her pace only sped up. "Merida!"
In a blaze of red, Merida wheeled to face her mother, her hand tightening on her bow, and her eyes showing that hint of anger and sadness mixed together. "What do you want, Mum?" She groaned loudly.
Elinor frowned, her delicate brow creasing and she let go of the delicate gown. "We were having a conversation Merida."
Merida growled under her breath. The pair were so absorbed in spotting a weakness in each other that they failed to notice the three giggling red haired boys hiding round the corner.
The princess rolled her eyes and groaned once more. "No, Mum, we weren't; you were dictating my life, as usual!"
"You are a princess, Merida," the Queen said sternly, her brown

Proud of the Misfit Viking
The evening was a silent one with only the endless rain hitting against the inhabitants of Berk's windows as their only companion in this gusty weather. Waves clawed at the edge of the small island and the ships rose and rocked in the distance. Such silence was a rare occasion and most Vikings hoped it would remain this way. For once, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock - the third - was with them. On any other day, he would hope that he could get outside and maybe manage to kill a dragon. That was what really mattered around the sturdy island of Berk. Killing a dragon meant everything. Just harming one might bring some attention to him and perhaps then everybody wouldn't see him as a useless squib. He might be able to do something.
Hiccup shook his head. What was he thinking? That he could be useful in battle? Just glancing in the mirro

The Lost Princess' Unexpected Delivery
It was such a sunny and warm day in the Kingdom of Corona. Birds were singing, the easy wind was breezing against your face, the waterfall streaming in through a large crack in the high steep-rock wall of the hidden clearing, and with the animals walking around grassing.
It was the perfect day to go outside. Well, it would have been. Unfortunately, the girl locked inside the valley's large Tower was never allowed outside. It was dangerous - that's what her mother always had told her. Ever since she was born, she had been special. Special by that meant that she, Rapunzel Corona Golde, was blessed with the Sun's Gift to heal the injured with her hair. Not only that, but it could also turn yourself younger. Which was why the little eleven-year-old - with the longest golden hair people would ever see - was imprisoned in her ow
Ice Dragon: The Story of Cartoons and Curses Jamie knew that someone was in his room as he rounded the corner. A grin spread across the sixteen-year-old’s face as the cold winds whipped past his feet from the crack under the door. The first snow had fallen that day, so he was due for his best friend coming to visit. So, as any happy child would, he rushed forward, throwing open the door as he greeted, “Hi…”Ice Dragon: The Story of Cartoons and Curses by Magical-Awesome-Kid
His voice trailed off as his brain tried to catch up to what he was seeing.
Jamie couldn’t believe his eyes. He blinked once, twice, and then he rubbed his eyes as if something in them was causing this massive confusion. However, it did nothing to what he was seeing. “…Jack?” The name quivered like a question on the chilly air.
It wasn’t the eternally youthful winter spirit that looked back, however. Cast in the bright moonlight filtering through the open window (one th

“She’s suffering, Jack…” A voice… Not Bunny’s… Not Mim’s… who’s… “Save her!” This voice is worried about you… I’m worried about you…
“Argh!” My head ached. I won’t stop! I have to get to you…
“Jack, slow down!” Bunny was running alongside me.
“What’s wrong? Too fast for you, Cottontail?”
“Nah, mate. I can keep up, but you’ve already run into a flock of geese. Get your head out of the clouds, Frostbite. You’re not paying attention to where you’re goin’.”
“I know where I’m going,” I yelled back at him.
“Easy, mate. This Shelia may mean a lot to you, but you’re not gonna rescue ‘er by actin’ rash.”
“I’m not going to slow down when

*I shrug and decide to cheer up the lonely kid. I conjure up a small snowflake to land on her nose and watch as she rubs her nose and smiles. I create another one and with a gust of wind, it hovers gently while the young child chases it, giggling. She reminds me of Sophie when she was her age. I smile.
“Maybe I’m not so bad at this after all.”*
I whip up a gust of wind, sending the snowflake higher in the air. “Watch this,” I exclaim. I aim my hand upward. The snowflake melts to become a small droplet of water and quickly falls back to earth and right before it lands on her face, it re-crystallizes to become the white flurry of its original form.
She laughs, “Make up your mind, sky! Do you want rain or snow?”
I chuckle, “Both for you, kiddo.” I send up a few more and repeat the cycle as she readily tries to catch them.
I smirk, “Check this out!” I send another flurry flake up into the sky at top speed.
What if Ch: 9 Mother and ChildHiccup laid in his bed, though he wasn't sleeping, he had a hard time sleeping, he had a hard time eating, he just wanted to lay in bed all day and night, he wanted his mother back, he wanted to see her smile, to hear her laugh, he missed her, and he didn't want her to be gone, he wanted her to be alive, and home. What if Ch: 9 Mother and Child by MewCherryBlossom
Hiccup had cried himself to sleep the first night. After that he tried his best not to cry, and he barely realized when it was day or when it was night, he barely ate, and he barely went outside. "Hiccup...?" he heard Astrid say but he just ignored her and kept facing away from her. "Hiccup..! C'mon! Its been 3 days, your mother wouldn't want you to be like this..." Astrid stated, but Hiccup remained laying on his side, staring at the wall.
The blond growled and grabbed him pulling him out of bed, "Hiccup! Snap out Of It! Do You Really This Val Would Want You To Do This To Yourself!? She Loved You Too Much! If She Saw You Like This It Would Break Her Heart!" she shouted, but
